The 4th of July usually finds me tending the BBQ pit during a visit from family. This year, we had a last minute change of plans so we decided to head out of town to Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, MO.
In spite of the kids missing their cousins, we had a great time at the lodge. We swam and boated on Friday, rode horses and toured a Titanic museum on Saturday, and vistited Silver Dollar City theme park on Sunday. A pretty full weekend indeed.
The kids say they had the most fun tubing behind the pontoon boat that we rented and I have to agree it was the highlight my trip as well. Here’s a shot of the girls experiencing tubing for the first time!
