Key West

After our dolphin experience, we headed right on down to Key West.  There we took in the sights on Duval Street and did a little souvenir shopping.  No trip to Duval St. in Key West would be complete without a stop at Margaritaville.  So while the girls shopped, I managed to spend a few minutes at the bar enjoying the music and good times.

Now I’ve never really considered myself a Parrothead, but I did get a little caught up in being at Jimmy Buffet’s signature location.  And, I couldn’t resist picking up his latest CD, a vintage tour t-shirt, and a commemorative guitar pick.

From there, we headed down to Mallory Square to watch the sunset.  It was a pretty spectacular sight.  We’ll get another evening watching the big orange ball extinguish itself in the warm waters of the gulf later in the trip.  For now, I’ll leave you with the photos from the day:
